So, I've been listening to commercials and viewing threads/webpages dedicated to this topic,
and even though Apple generally sucks, I have to say I'm impressed with the iPad.

It looks good but Apple in general is shit, like if you had problems with that device (which is likely because they're built from cheap crappy components and materials) you would have terrible support issues. Plus I bet its like £1k+ and the HP tablet, which has better specs + can be a laptop via a twist function, is a lot cheaper and comes with Windows XP (or Vista or 7 depends on the model and where you get it etc) - much better for software compatibility since most applications are made for Windows.
Therefore this "iPad" is fail, unless its being sold for £300. |

RUBBISH! whats the pricing? bet it would be cheaper to buy a tablet PC, and the PC would be BETER and it would run WINDOWS and u could SURF THE WEB and READ EBOOKS and run all the Apps EVER and do SKYPE CALLING and you could probably get expansion cards with all the pointless periferals like the compass and the GPS.
and one more thing, what exactly is this products purpous? the iPod was just the best (selling) mp3 player ever, the iPhone was ment to be the phone that does everything, but this, THIS! whats is this peice of junk do!!!
Its not a Phone, cause its sim slot is just for 3G, its not a big ass camera (unless apple found a way to download pictures from your eyes to the iPad via bluetooth), it does the internet yes, and it does mp3 playing, but so can i tablet pc, this draws me to one conclusion, its just a BIG ASS APP RUNNER! WTF! i want REAL PROGRAMS! not crappy apps!
DONT WASTE UR MONEY ON THIS! BUY A TABLET PC! ENJOY FLEXABILITY AND SOFTWARE DIVERSITY! (and MS office) BUY ONE OF THOSE FOLDY ONES THAT TURNS FROM A NETBOOK TO A TABLET! THEN IT A KEYBOAD TO! |

heres some updates,
1. i(maxi)Pad might have a forward facing camera for improved uselessness
2. apple added support for a camera to the i(maxi)Pad SDK base for game developers
3. Adobe is getting off their ass and they are working on a flash for Android but unfortunatly it will probably be supported on one or two phones and no...they arent any of the cool ones |
